The College Admission Process

The college admission process may be complicated, but with the advice and insights from this interactive session, students and families learn how to play and win the Admission Game. In this informative, workshop, we give families, coaches, educators and attendees an “inside look into what it takes and how to be organized”. The seminar transforms the audience into an admission committee with “skits” that include the college interview, and the do’s and don’t of communicating with college coaches and admissions officers. The goal is to show “case-studies” of the process and to evaluate fictitious applicants, parents, coaches and admissions officers and how to become a top prospect for a fictitious college. In the process, participants learn the rules of the "game", discover how to deal with the hidden agenda, and gain practical tips for finding their best college fit and getting scholarships.

The College Planning Seminar has been presented to more than 100,000 people and more than 20,000 audiences worldwide since 1989.
