DESCRIPTION
College Profiler is our proprietary online service designed to assist non-athlete with their college search for academic programs and scholarships. The search includes the types of degrees offered, location, tuition and other general college characteristics that are weighted allowing the student to maximize his or her career choices and opportunities. The results can be downloaded in segments of 10 for a total of 30 compatible college or university programs that fit the users criteria. The service can be purchased individually or through a subscription.
HOW THE SERVICE WORKS
Jump-start your college search with our new online service COLLEGE PROFILER. The database is updated daily and our goal is to provide our customers with the most current information available - each institution contained within the service is provided profiles to help ensure accurate information is available to help with your college search. If you are a parent or admissions officer and have information that you believe should be included, let us know and we will post the update.
TO GET STARTED
You must have a pass code to access this service - With your pass code, click
login and choose COLLEGE PROFILER - from here,
· Enter your pass code as required - then enter your personal data. You
must have either an SAT or ACT score or GPA - if you do not have an SAT or ACT
score, visit our testing area at www.4tests.com to find out where you fit.
· Once you have entered your personal information and scores, choose which
state[s] were you are interested in attending college, choose a from two year
or four year programs, select from the programs of study available, the size
and tuition, public or private, coed or single sex, religious affiliation if
you like and click FIND
· Then rank the order of priority of which is most important to you and
your family and click Get Selections
· You will receive an initial set of 10 college or university programs
that fit the criteria you have selected - You can modify your selections two
[2] additional times and view your current selection by clicking the link at
the bottom of the results page.
· To get a new selection click on the link New Selection at the bottom
of the page
· With each modification, you will receive 10 compatible matches for a
total of 30 programs that fit your parameters. You should print or download your
selection to ensure you have a personal database to assist with your college
search.
· Each MATCHFIT™ code is for one time use only. Once you close your
browser you cannot continue with the search.
Please do not use the back button on your browser to go back and modify your search, as this would not allow you to go ahead with the search!!!!!
It is just that simple - please follow the instructions provided on each screen and remember this is your JUMP-START to the college identification and selection process.
