The Sport Source would like to welcome Kelly Beck to our team of professionals.
Like most kids, Kelly got her start as a child playing softball and
soccer, then played basketball, volleyball, and ran track in high
school. She was fortunate to be one of the few who achieved the goal of
playing Division I volleyball in College, at Texas Tech University.
Being named “Big 12 Newcomer of the Year” her freshman year was an honor
that she worked very hard for. Along with a number of tournament awards
and NCAA records, Kelly was named Big 12 Player of the Week 4 times in
her career and left a nice little foot print in the Texas Tech records:
Tech's all-time career kills leader with 1,924 kills, Tech's all-time
career attempts leader with 5,142 attempts, Ranks 11th in career digs
(1,087), Ranks 6th in career aces (119). Beyond athletics, Kelly was
very focused on her grades, which led her to add five-time /Cum Laude
/Dean’s List achievement, Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll every
semester enrolled and Academic All-Big 12 1^st Team three consecutive
years. She understands how tough it is to juggle athletics and
academics, and provides an outstanding example of what can be achieved
through discipline and hard work. Upon graduating, Kelly played
volleyball professionally in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, which was a
highlight of her career.
After Puerto Rico Kelly traveled wither her husband to Germany where he
played and coached baseball professionally. Kelly was very proud to
assist in administering leagues and camps for German and American
children. Both are so passionate about teaching others through their
collegiate and professional experiences, The Sport Source was a natural
extension of their work. “We love helping kids and know first hand how
hard it can be to find the right college for student athletes. Every
child and parent deserves to hear about The Sport Source® and we look
forward to providing that for them,” says Kelly. Being part of The Sport
Source® and ANUVIEW is something that truly excites Kelly. She’s

collegiate and professional athletic experiences while helping them see
the reality of attending college and playing the sport they love.

Thank you for Dallas Showcase
On behalf of everyone associated with The Sport Source family we would
like to take a minute to thank all of the participating teams and
coaches for helping to put together another tremendous event that once
again has helped to promote student athletes in an environment where
College coaches can evaluate talent in a quality environment.
We are proud to say that we had another outstanding array of over
265 College coaches attend the 17th Annual Sport Source Showcase and
Clinic.
The continued success of this event is all due to the coming together of
a number of different groups who truly feel that the players are the
focal point of the weekend and everyone associated with the
Showcase strive to give them the opportunity to showcase their talents
in a relaxed environment.
On Friday we kicked off the weekend with the Clinic at The University of
Texas Dallas where we had over 250 players working with college coaches
in a training environment that was both challenging and fun.
We would also like to say a big thank you to the referees for all of
their hard work throughout the weekend and finally to the City of Plano
for providing the Russell Creek Soccer Complex as well as the parks
staff for ensuring the fields and facilities were top notch.
We look forward to having everyone attend The 18th Annual Sport Source
