Glenn Davis, the Burn's color commentator since Major League Soccer's inception in 1996, will once again provide color commentary on the Burn's television broadcasts. A former professional soccer player in the American Soccer League, United Soccer League, and indoors in the AISA in the 80's, Davis was a league All Star and played in two league Championships. Davis has provided both color commentary and play-by-play commentary on some of the world's most prestigious matches and leagues including the Italian Serie "A", Copa America, UEFA Cup, German Bundesliga, Gold Cup, and used the "Fox Scope," breaking down World Cup '98. He will also be providing play-by-play for ESPN for the 2002 World Cup.

In addition to his Burn duties, he is heavily involved in youth soccer and was Director of Coaching of the Hurricanes Soccer Club Houston for 10 years. Davis has an "A" coaching license and has worked on the ODP regional staff. Davis was an NAIA All American at Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia where he received a B.A. in Management.
