About Adam; Coach Pearce comes to Spring Hill from Concordia University
in Portland, Ore., where he was a men's soccer assistant coach for two
years.
Pearce received a B. A. in Physical Education from Concordia in 2000,
where he graduated magna cum laude. He received a M. S. in
Education-Sport Sciences and Coaching in 2004 from the University of
Akron, where he was also the graduate assistant/goalkeeper coach for the
women's soccer team.
Pearce played goalkeeper for Concordia from 1997-99. A two-time NAIA
Academic All-American, Pearce captained the 1999 Cavaliers who competed
in the NAIA National Tournament. After graduation he pursued a
professional soccer career that brought him to England, Ireland and back
to the USA where he was part of the inaugural Portland Timbers A-league
team.

Develop a personal action plan that includes your athletic goals and
size up your strengths. Find at least 8 to 10 compatible college
programs that meet your academic and athletic goals and is located in
the geographic area you want to live.
Go watch collegiate games at all levels and ask yourself could you
contribute to the team immediately.
Once you have sized up you athletic strengths, send your player profile
to those college coaches on your list and follow up with a phone call
and or un-official visit.
Be prepared, persistent and proactive in your search. There is a
college or university that will fit your goals and objectives. Without
a doubt, find a program where you want to graduate with a meaningful
degree.
