While our name is synonymous with sports, education is our objective. The Sport Source® believes all students should have a fair and equal opportunity to pursue a college education.

As a former professional athlete, people all over the country would ask me 'How did you get recruited?' 'What does it take to play at the collegiate level?' and 'What do coaches look for in a player?'. As I thought about the questions asked, I realized - there was not a resource for students, parents, coaches and educators to access answers. Having been fortunate and recruited by Brown, Penn State and other Division I programs, I actually thought players like myself were "actively recruited".

In 1989 our company was formed and our mission has remained "to provide the perfect link between a student-athlete, a specialized sports program and a well-rounded college education". Our first guide to sports colleges and sports scholarships was "Soccer". Since our inception The Sport Source® has developed numerous strategic alliances with high schools and national/international youth sports organizations that have encouraged us to introduce new services and continue to help improve college guidance and scholarship opportunities for students.
