Dear Coach,
Our goal is to provide you a unique forum to watch aspiring college bound student-athletes representing local, state, regional and national as well as Olympic Development Program teams. When you attend one of our events, you will see why we have become known for hosting a quality event, featuring some of the best players and teams playing competitive soccer. This year the College Coaches will enjoy the traditions, the spirit and the luxury of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Addison, TX as your host hotel. For your pleasure, in your room you will find special amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. You will be charged $25.00 per person per night based on double occupancy excluding taxes. If you choose to have your own room, you will be charged $72.00 per night excluding taxes. In an effort to show our appreciation, we will cover the balance of the room rate excluding any room service or additional services you might wish to order. You will be contacted by our staff to secure your roommate selection, provide a credit card for expediting your stay and check in. Should your plans change and you are unable to attend the Showcase, you will need to contact the Crowne Plaza to cancel your reservations. When our staff contacts you, we will send you an email to confirm your request and will provide you with the hotel contact information should you have an emergency and need to cancel your reservations. As part of your weekend - December 5th, we will host our Annual Welcome Reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We will feature a South of the border Fiesta that includes a fusion of unique food creations, along with an array of beverages to delight your tastes. Each year, the event receives rave reviews from all and our goal is to keep you coming back! So come for the excitement of soccer, see old friends and make new ones while creating memories that will last forever. On Saturday, December 6th, 2008 we will host our annual Coaches Appreciation Dinner at the Crown Plaza Hotel with a Taste of Italy, featuring pastas, various fresh sauces, salads, heart-healthy options and signature deserts as well as a variety of beverages to compliment your dinner. Then mix and mingle and have some fun. During the Showcase at the Russell Creek Soccer Complex we will provide breakfast and lunch with great Texas Hospitality. Each year the menu changes and without a doubt, the reviews have been excellent so don't miss out. When you check in at the host hotel, each coach will be given credentials to enter the dining and coach's areas, this is to ensure we do not violate the spirit of the Parks Department in the serving of food and beverages to the players and families attending the event. Dates to remember! December 5th, 2008 the 18th Annual College Style Soccer Clinic at the University of Texas Dallas Soccer Complex - we encourage you to attend the clinic and get a glimpse of the players who will be participating in the Showcase and pick up the clinic participants package for your evaluation purposes. December 6th & 7th, 2008 we will host our 18th Annual Showcase Dallas Texas at Russell Creek Soccer Complex - all games will begin at 8:00am with the last game. The Crowne Plaza will offer transportation from the hotel to the field's daily. They will have a schedule at the front desk when you check in.  Mission
Statement The Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund has been organized to support programs and persons aspiring to the principles of life and sport as espoused and exemplified by Walt Chyzowych. In furtherance of this purpose, the Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund shall provide financial assistance, grants, and scholarships to deserving players and coaches in the areas of academic and soccer education and perform any other activities or services necessary or convenient to carry out such purposes.
