The Sport Source® College Planning Workbooks are the step-by-step “how to” guide for understanding and evaluating college and university programs. The workbook explains entrance requirements and how to effectively communicate with admissions counselors and college coaches. It also helps parents, coaches and guidance counselors evaluate a student-athlete and focus the athlete’s college search on the programs where he or she can be most successful. Working with the student-athlete as early as their high school freshman year, the college search can be directed effectively to programs that fit both academically and athletically. The workbook includes a sample resume, sample cover letter, and a checklist with timelines to follow for completion.
