Program Profile: A
competitive NCAA Division III program.
Our Coyer Field is a natural Kentucky Blue grass playing surface. The
season stretches from late August (3 weeks) to early November (conference
playoffs). The Bengals also have a
state of the art practice facility on campus.
History: The
program began in 1935 and is entering its 62st season of competition (the
Bengals did not field a team in 1941, 1993, 1994 & 1995). The Bengals State’s best season was in 1967
when the team finished 12-1-1
Achievements: Buffalo
State has the most All-Americans to date of all Soccer teams in the SUNYAC
conference (22) and numerous All-Conference, All-State players named to those
teams. A Buffalo State player was named SUNYAC MVP in 1980, 1983 & 1984. A
Buffalo State player was named Academic SUNYAC MVP 3 years in a row 1997, 1998,
1999. Buffalo State had the SUNYAC Coach of the Year in 1980, 1982 and Coach Anthony Massop in 1998.

Program Profile: We have
a fast rising soccer program since the arrival of the new head coach in
1997. We have highly professional
facilities with natural grass and a
3,000+-seat stadium. Having fun is as
important as winning.
History: The
first year of women’s soccer at Buffalo State was in 1981 when the team posted
an 8-6 record. In the last five
seasons, the team have won a total of 12 games. Buffalo State was a charter member of the SUNYAC in 1983, and
reached the Conference Title game in 1984.
Our all-time record is 96-193-13.
