Ideally, your students have a college admissions plan that's completely personalized to their background, budget, and academic interests.
But most school counselors don't have enough time in a day to devote to each and every student. The Sport Source® college mentoring program gives you an opportunity to provide extra assistance to students eager to hear what admissions professionals have to say about what it takes to get in and how to develop a personal “action plan” that fits their academic and or athletic pursuits.
Our team of mentors is lead by Charlie Kadupski, founder and CEO of The Sport Source®. The staff includes former college coaches, grad students, and even former college and professional players. Each mentor offers a diverse range of experiences and can speak to any student, student-athlete or parents concerns. Our staff works with high school counselors, teachers, administrators and athletic directors regarding the admissions process, financial aid, campus life and more.
The College Admission Process
The Sport Source® will give you the honest truth on the Myths and Realities of the institutional side of the admissions process. Students and their parents will be given an inside look and learn how to take a proactive approach to the college recruitment process. Through the use of role-playing, you will participate as an admissions officer, college coach and college counselor at a fictitious college so you will see first hand how the process works and what does not. Families are encouraged to work together to find out what it takes to get ahead. And students learn that highlighting their unique qualities can make a successful application.
